The moon…

A few nights ago there was a full moon.  Beautiful.  Huge.  Coming up over the horizon in all of it's breathtaking beauty.

Sometimes we miss the moonrise.  I still haven’t figured out its schedule.  What I do know is:  It reflects the sun.  It is not always full.  It’s most colorful when it first peeks over the horizon.  As it gets higher if can light the area like a spotlight.  Sometimes clouds get in the way and it is hidden or only partially visible.  Sometimes the earth gets in the way and hides all or part of it.

S’T

The only time I really shine is when I reflect Jesus.  I have to position myself between Him and others.  If, I let troubles, concerns and stuff (the clouds) or people (the earth) get between Jesus and me there is no holy light.  No inner glow.

Like the moon, I need to get my light from the son.  And then reflect it.
