Cleaning the Garage. Again…

The process was repeated again…  Yesterday.  Dan and I worked together.  Shifting and sorting.  Some stuff got thrown.  But mostly we got things put into like categories.  Tools with tools.  Screws with screws.  Cleaning supplies with cleaning supplies.  Some stuff went into the store room.  Some into the ‘Treasure Yard’.  Some clear down to the basement.

We worked all day.  Moving cleaning, sorting.  Since the cars were out of the garage, I took the leaf blower and blew all the dirt out,

We stood and admired our work.  Tools hung or in drawers.  Easy to find.  Storage containers hung on the fall filled with screws, nails and miscellaneous  stuff.  Neat stacks and piles.  The big car inside.  We were tired and dirty, but still friends after working together all day.  A successful clean-up.

S’T

All over the house we pile stuff.  Then take it to its proper place.  Or move it to the garage.  Delaying its final or proper resting place.  So it stacks up.  Ignored.  Forgotten.  Or noticed only as we come and go on more important tasks.  Delayed decisions.

I do that with God.  Pile.  Sack.  Move from place to place the burdens that clutter my life.  Why can’t I just take them to Him.  First.  He know what to do with them—Eliminate them completely.  A chance for me to grow.  Learn.  Mature.  An opportunity for God to do His miracle working stuff.

Why do I keep hold of stuff that needs to be gone?
