Cleaning
and Clearing… My
life long goal, dream, ambition. To
open the garage door...and see empty space.
Vacant space. That’s what
I long for. Work toward.
Strive to accomplish.
But, we have ‘stuff’. Boxes
and boxes. Piles and files.
Good stuff. Useable and
useful stuff. Might need and
won’t ever need stuff. Seasonal
and useful stuff. Duplicate and
excess stuff.
And then there is the dirt. Leaves
blown in when door was left open. It
is supposed to be a place for our cars. There
is no room. It have become a
storage place for our excess stuff. Piles
and stacks of stuff. Things that
won’t fit or aren’t needed in the house.
Some of it will never be needed.
Dan says, “Let’s move it all outside into the ‘Treasure’ (junk)
Yard.” We seen to do that on a
yearly basis. Move this bunch of
stuff from one place to another. What
we really need to do is sort, throw and give away. S’T
I need to do that with my life too.
What do I really need to keep and haul around?
What do I need to confess and get rid of?
What do I need to discover and use?
What do I need to give away. What
needs to go to the dump or into the garbage?
